Chandrashekhar Namdevrao Chahande
Residing in Nagpur, our dedicated trustee holds a BSc degree from Nagpur University. A seasoned counselor, inspiring retreat leader, dynamic speaker, and adept event organizer, he embarked on his social journey during his teenage years, actively contributing to a youth organization. Driven by the visionary principles of Dr. Ambedkar, centered around liberty, equality, and fraternity, he found resonance with Triratna Buddha Mahasangha.
Immersing himself in mindfulness practices and embracing a moral life in harmony with fellow practitioners, he discovered a profound connection with these principles. Committed to deepening his understanding and passionately sharing these values with the wider community, he currently serves as the Chair of Triratna Institute Trust. Collaborating seamlessly with fellow trustees, he is actively engaged in realizing the trust’s aims and objectives.
A frequent traveler both within the country and abroad, he shares his experiences, reflections, and timeless human values for the collective welfare of humanity. His commitment to fostering positive change resonates in his continuous efforts to communicate and embody the principles he holds dear.
Vinod Premdas Tembhurne
An advocate for social, educational, and cultural development, our trustee has been active from an early age, collaborating with various NGOs. His impactful contributions extend to socio-economically backward communities, especially among the youth. A dedicated figure among the sweeper community and youth in Nagpur’s slums, he received training from experts in diverse NGOs.
His commitment to addressing educational disparities led him to work extensively with educationally backward communities, providing essential facilities and organizing training camps for holistic growth. These camps aimed at fostering physical, mental, and moral development, eliminating inferiority complexes, and instilling confidence in the youth. Specialized training, including disciplines like Karate, empowered the youth with self-confidence and life discipline.
Beyond education, his efforts included cultural training, leading large-scale campaigns against superstitions, and advocating for anti-smoking and anti-drinking initiatives. The wealth of experience garnered from working among youth and socio-economically disadvantaged communities greatly informs our outreach work at Triratna Institute. His diverse and extensive background uniquely contributes to the organization’s mission and objectives.
Pranit Ranvir Savarkar
Residing in Nagpur, our esteemed trustee holds an MA in Psychology from Open University. Currently serving as a counselor at Triratna Institute, he dedicates his efforts to youth welfare, extending his reach across North, South, and East India. His primary focus lies in assisting young individuals in overcoming addiction, fostering mental well-being, and promoting a positive life trajectory.
Beyond his role at Triratna Institute, he actively contributes to “People to People Organisation” as a trainer. This organization is dedicated to the well-being of the third gender in society. His involvement includes participating in their camps, providing invaluable assistance, and conducting training sessions. His multifaceted contributions reflect a deep commitment to the mental health and holistic development of individuals, aligning seamlessly with the ethos of Triratna Institute.
Rama Satish Lanjewar
Based in Nagpur, our esteemed trustee holds an MA BEd from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and an MSW from Nagpur University. A versatile professional, she serves as a counselor, study leader, and speaker. Her passion lies in women and child empowerment, where she operates as a project leader, utilizing art and cultural programs to create social awareness in villages and slums.
As a dedicated project leader, she spearheads livelihood initiatives, children’s classes, and camps focused on child development. Additionally, her efforts extend to youth development, where she plays a pivotal role as a self-defense trainer. With a keen focus on women’s development, she has organized numerous camps aimed at empowerment.
Her commitment transcends borders, as she travels abroad for women’s capacity-building training. Currently serving as a trustee at Triratna Institute, her wealth of experience and dedication significantly contributes to the organization’s mission and objectives.
Milind Sopanrao Khandare
Residing in Pune, our esteemed trustee holds an MA BEd in English from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. His journey in the realm of social empowerment began with significant contributions to an NGO focused on women’s education and empowerment. His endeavors included teaching academic subjects, active participation in tree-plantation campaigns, and leading water-saving awareness camps.
Currently, he serves as a dynamic speaker, trainer, and camp organizer. His impactful work extends to assisting youths in overcoming addiction and conducting personality development workshops. With a dedication to positive change, he now holds a trustee position at Triratna Institute, bringing a wealth of experience and commitment to the organization’s mission and objectives.
Usha Nishikant

Residing in Pune, our dedicated trustee is a catalyst for social awareness and women’s empowerment. Her impactful contributions extend to teaching meditation and providing ethical training. A proficient study leader, she takes the lead in organizing diverse meditation camps that foster mindfulness and well-being.

Pravin Rohidas Gawhane
Based in Sanpada, New Mumbai, our dedicated trustee has been a proactive force in child empowerment within slum areas. His commitment to youth well-being is evident through his efforts in assisting young individuals in overcoming addiction, conducting workshops for their personal development, and serving as a counselor.
Beyond youth-focused initiatives, he actively participates in environmental causes, contributing to tree-plantation events around Mumbai. His altruistic endeavors extend to organizing blood donation campaigns. Additionally, his compassion for animals is reflected in his work with Khirani Prakashan, caring for their well-being.
